Ive been on devaintart for a while, but only now have I really started to sumbit some art. My 1st two submissions are in this week, yay me. ^^
Although I really am talking to myself here... as I dont actually know anyone very well at the moment. *sob*
But if anyone is reading this, I have a question.
Why, before my submissions are clicked on, are they so small and blurry. Everyone elses seem to be exact replicas of their full view art, except just slightly smaller. Mine just arent right..

ing The Boy Who Lived! no problem, you're amazing! do you have any tips for your techniques? (:
No problem. I use prismacolor pencils, and I always do the initial outlines & shading with burnt ochre, then add a little dark brown or black, not too heavy. Then I add a bunch of layers of peach, pink, beige or light greys (all lightly, adding more & more to certain areas for varying degrees of depth). Then I'll come back in with the dark brown & black, heavier this time & with solid lines around the eyes, nose & mouth. Then I add a layer of beige of the lighter areas of the skin to blend it together.

Im also curious, many artists here on deviant art use prismacolour pencils. Ive always wondered what makes them more popular than other brands - is there a reason you favour them? Obviously they work for you because your art is gorgeous (:
